The Refurbishing Process

At Green Laptops, every device undergoes a rigorous 7-step refurbishing process to ensure exceptional quality, reliability, and performance. From detailed inspections and expert repairs to hardware upgrades, deep cleaning, and software optimization, our process guarantees that each laptop meets the highest standards. We go beyond simple refurbishing—each device is stress-tested for real-world performance and undergoes a final quality assurance check before being made available for sale. 1: Inspection

Each laptop undergoes a rigorous initial inspection to identify any physical damage, missing components, or potential issues. This ensures nothing is overlooked.

 

2: Repairs

Skilled technicians repair or replace any faulty hardware components such as the screen, keyboard, trackpad, or motherboard. Batteries are tested, and if they do not meet performance standards, they are replaced with high-quality alternatives.

3: Component Upgrades

We review components such as RAM/ storage in our laptops, and if necessary, we upgrade them to enhance performance. We do not offer laptops with less than 16 GB of RAM, as this amount provides reliable performance over time.

Laptops are thoroughly cleaned both inside and out. Dust and debris are removed from the internal components, especially the cooling system, to enhance airflow and thermal efficiency. A new thermal paste is also applied.

 

5: Software Installation & Updates

We purchase an official operating system license and install and update it. to the latest version, and optimised it for performance. We enjoy providing our office laptops with productivity software, like Microsoft Office, saving you money and time.

Extensive testing follows, simulating real-world usage to ensure the laptop functions as it should. Key tests include checking the display, battery life, processor speed, storage performance, and connectivity options.
